That's exactly where you'll find Jacob Clary right now, our newest addition to the OEP sales team, working his way through both our rubber and plastics extrusion lines before he makes a single sales call. It's how we do things here, and it's one of the reasons our customers keep coming back.
Meet Jacob
Jacob joins OEP with a focus on the industrial market, an area we've been intentional about growing. From food processing and agriculture to HVAC and general manufacturing, industrial customers have unique demands: tight tolerances, consistent supply, and a supplier who understands their application.
Jacob is building that foundation from the ground up. He's spending time on both our rubber and plastics plants, learning how profiles are designed, extruded, and quality-checked before they ship. He's also getting to know our trust team members who make this happen every day. When he eventually sits across from a customer, and they ask, "Can you make this?" Jacob will know the answer from firsthand experience, not a spec sheet.
Why Industrial, Why Now
The industrial market represents a significant growth opportunity for OEP, and it's one we're pursuing with the same materials and capabilities we've built our business on. The rubber and plastic compounds we utilize for glazing, construction, and agricultural customers are the same ones industrial buyers need, and we're focused on bringing that expertise to a broader set of applications. We already serve customers through commercial glazing, construction, and agricultural applications, and the demand for precision-extruded rubber and plastic profiles in industrial settings continues to grow.
